Key to landing the perfect job is showing potential employers what you have to offer. A resume and cover letter are great, but a website can show an employer so much more.
-
With one link you can send them to your site/blog where you can have your full portfolio, press, galleries, a bio, anything and everything you want.
-
There are so many reasons to set up your own website (and it can be so simple, not time-consuming at all, and even free), yet still so many artists refuse or continue to put it off.
-
Both CAC and my blog,
Perpetual Existence, are simple and FREE Blogger blogs that I've snazzied up with a few simple tricks.
My website is hosted (at an incredibly reasonable price) by a larger (reliable) company that offers knowledgeable support, emails, stats, as well as endless free templates that you just need to add in any info and pics that you want (again, I've snazzied mine up, but you can do as much or as little as you want...yourself...it's easy!).
-
If you need help setting up a website or blog,
let me know. There are plenty of people around CAC who can help you out (including myself if you're interested in a blog like CAC ).
-
And once you set up that awesome new website, make sure to glance at the great list of jobs I have for you today.
-
Good luck!
