Auditions for 'PAROLE, PAROLE' at the 2009 Rhubarb Festival at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre

About PAROLE, PAROLE
Madam Anderson speaks 101 languages and lives alone. Unable to find work as a linguist, she takes a job as translator for reruns of Colloquio a Me, the wildly popular Italian variety show. PAROLE, PAROLE explores the horrifying absurdities of quotation through one woman’s descent into madness.

About The Festival:
First produced by Buddies in 1979, Rhubarb is more than a festival; it is a commentary on theatre - on how we create it, on how we present it, and on how we experience it. Here we allow the artist and the idea to be the centre of attention. Over 30 years Rhubarb has seen exciting new work by a host of groundbreaking Canadian artists such as Daniel MacIvor, Daniel Brooks, Don McKellar, Diane Flacks, Darren O'Donnell, Sky Gilbert, Atom Egoyan, Ann-Marie MacDonald (and many more).
