The position is permanent part time and is based on a 25 hour work week*. We anticipate the successful candidate starting on June 1st. All applications will be considered on merit and in accordance with our equal opportunities policy.

Job duties include but are not restricted to the following:
Financial management:
· Cash flow projections
· Annual and project budgets
· Bank reconciliations
· Bookkeeping
· Payroll
· Arranging annual and project insurance
· Filing annual returns and accounts to Revenue Canada
· Organize annual Audits
· Oversee production budgets, providing departments necessary funds and keeping track of all department budgets.
· Organizing and filing all TCT receipts, and invoices
· Charities Directorate Reports
· Distribution of Tax Receipts
Fundraising:
· Research and source potential grant giving bodies and opportunities
· Co-write grant applications
· Project Report Forms
· Maintain regular contact with the Lead Officers of our Regular Funding Bodies
· Direct Mail campaigns
· Write content for Corporate Brochure
· Researching new sources of Corporate Sponsors
· Ensuring corporate sponsors get what they are entitled to according to agreement
· Implementing stewardship of corporate sponsors and individual donors including all thank-you letters, gifts, review packages, etc.
· Updating all sponsors on ongoing TCT activities
· Getting logos and all necessary advertising from sponsors
· Create and update TCT securities giving package
· Implement stewardship of individual donors
Project Management:
· Complete all necessary foreign worker applications
· Find accommodations for visiting artists
· Venue and creative team liaison
· Write or fill out any needed contracts for contract workers
· CAEA liaison
Routine office/company management:
· Filing all important TCT documents and archives
· Organize Company Theatre Newsletter/E-Letter
· Make sure TCT website is up-to-date
· Organize and execute all TCT promotional mail outs (Manual and Electronic)
· Create and update TCT Database
Marketing:
· Publicists and Marketing Liaison
Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience in the arts/cultural sector.
Essential skills include:
· Writing and monitoring budgets
· Fundraising
· Working creatively and flexibly under tight deadlines and in pressure situations
· Managing multiple priorities
· Working as part of a team.
· An excellent level of computer literacy including use of Excel, Word, Quickbooks
· Excellent administrative, organizational and scheduling skills
· Experience of budgeting and financial management
· A genuine interest in the performing arts and community
· A flexible approach to working hours and job demands
· Ability to work on own initiative, prioritize work and keep a cool head under multiple demands on time
Salary is commensurate with experience.
